Senior Staff Developer

Rebecca Sanger Stewart is a dedicated and passionate educator with experience in special education for children from early intervention through high school, expertise in delivering specially designed instruction, a research-based knowledge of behavior supports, and desire for facilitating family engagement in the education process. As a former peer mentor, instructional coach, and classroom teacher she has facilitated professional learning opportunities in a variety of capacities with a focus on writing comprehensive Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), providing explicit instruction, implementing appropriate accommodations and modifications for diverse learners, and supporting positive outcomes for students with diverse learning abilities. Rebecca’s passion is supporting differently abled learners from all cultural backgrounds, alongside their families, to become confident and successful participants in the education process.  Currently, Rebecca works within Measurement Incorporated’s Evaluation and School Improvement Services division supporting the North Country Regional Partnership Center.
