Senior Training Specialist

Charmaine has 20 years of experience working in Special Education and Administration at the secondary level. She was a special education teacher for 10 years in various settings and content areas. As a school administrator, she wrote and coordinated a number of state and federal grants; created and supervised post-secondary planning and work experience programs; and supervised summer programs. She has experience in team building, needs assessments, data interpretation, SMART goal development, and data driven programs. She was an SAT, ACT, SSD, and School Test Coordinator for over 10 years. As a Community Employment Specialist, Charmaine delivered professional development and technical assistance regarding post-secondary services for students with disabilities. She believes that with appropriate planning and supports, every student can realize their dreams for living, learning and earning in the adult world. Currently, Charmaine works as a Transition Specialist supporting the Capital District Regional Partnership Center.
